What is a Dive Bar? is there a real definition of “Dive Bar”? Not really, so we will give you a list of criteria needed to be classified as a “Dive Bar”.  A Dive Bar must have a Juke Box,  Pool Tables,  Cheap Drinks,  interesting decor, Your Favorite Bartender,  Local and last but not least “Flavorful” Clientele.

For some reason San Diego has a lot to offer in the way of Dive Bars or a more PC name would be “neighborhood Bars”. It seems like every neighborhood in San Diego has them and we will review and list them here for you. And hey, it’s ultra hip nowadays to “hang it” at Dive Bars.

This place is number 1 just for the decor, atmosphere and drinks. San Diego history has occurred here, if you are in San Diego you have to stop by for a drink!
