Old Town off the beaten path...

Old Town CowboysThere is so much to do in Old Town that I had to make a separate section for all of my recommendations. Continue to check here for more additions.

First stop off the beaten path is a Unique shopping experience at Miranda's Courtyard. Miranda's has many indoor and outdoor pottery items, Outdoor Decor, Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) items and religious crafts, magnets, and a potpourri of tourist stuff to buy.

Miranda's CourtyardWe bought our Chiminea there and Mexican Jumping beans for endless amounts of entertainment. The staff is really friendly and don't be surprised if you smell some good incense. If you find some really good stuff to buy, I am sure they will ship it to you. And after a few Margarita's, make sure you remember your visit to Miranda's. On the corner on Twiggs and Congress Street.

Harney SushiA great Dinner spot is Miso Harney Sushi. Harney Sushi is located on Harney street right next to "Game Town". This Restaurant has become a weekly addiction. The Sushi is fresh, inventive and the vibe is always good. There is reggae or house/electronic music mixed live in the background creating a great atmosphere. The Staff is exceptional and the wait can get heavy on Friday and Saturday nights, Reservations recommended.

The Sake Bar is out of this world and really unique to San Diego. Make sure you try the Cold Haiku Sake or a mixed Sake Lemon Drop.
